Typical Charge for 1 to 3 postcards is $1.00
Typical Charge for 1 to 2 covers is $1.00
Typical Charge for 1 to 3 Victorian Trade Cards is $1.00
Typical Charge for 1 to 3 stamp sets or singles is $1.00
Charge for Priority Mail(less than 1 pound) Shipment is $4.00

above Items are shipped enclosed in plastic sleevses and shipped with cardboard backing in manilla envelope.

Insurance is an additional charge as follows:
Value-$.01 to $50.00 : $1.10
Value-$50.01 to $100.00 : $2.00
Value-$100.01 to $200.00 : $3.00
Value-$200.01 to $300.00 : $4.00
etc.
Insurance is not cost effective for items worth less than $30.00 loss rates are extremely low.

Quality Terms & Definitions

Postcards, Trade Cards

Mint to Near Mint - Just as it came from the press - minor toning or aging.
Excellent - Clean & fresh, no creases, sharp corners, post mark & writing only on address side.
good to very good - Minor bends or creases, slight corner rounding, address & message mostly on address side.
average to poor - Corners rounded, some bends or creases, address & message on picture side.
creased or wrinkled - major problems, space filler, check the picture carefully for problems.

Covers

Cover Quality

Fine - Clean, fresh appearance, no tears or stains
Average - Mild toning commenserite with age of cover, minor creases or small closed tears.
Poor - Toning, creases and closed tears present.
other cover quality describers should be evident i.e. 'shortened into stamp'

Cancel Quality

a very fine strike - All letters, date & killer bold.
a fine strike - All letters and date easily readable - killer identifiable.
a light strike - A fine strike but very faint.
an average strike - Up to three letters and some of date illegible - killer often indistinct.
an indistinct strike - More than three letters and most of date illegible.
a weak strike - Difficult to interpert town name and date.
a partial strike - Part of strike off cover.
a blurred strike - Cancel smeared so as to make it difficult to read.
a multiple strike - Two or more of the same strike on top of each other.
an overstruck strike - Two different strikes on top of each other.

Stamps

Stamp Quality
(centering of the stamp image)

superb - perfect centering
very fine - slightly off center in one direction
fine to very fine - slightly off center in two directions
fine - designs clear perfs ; small margins on imperf stamps
average to fine - perfs touch design in one direction
average - perfs touch design

Gum Quality

mint never hinged - as issued no disturbance
mint lightly hinged - small mark from having been hinged in an album
mint minor hinge remenat - small piece of hinge still adhereing to stamp
mint hinge remnant - prominant piece or mark from hinge
mint issued without gum - naturally without gum
mint no gum - gum has been removed from stamp
mint disturbed gum - effect of humidity, mount polishing etc.

Minerals

Picture Scale

Scale if shown has bar at 1 inch and 2 bars showing centimeters.

Size/Mounting

Micromount/Micromineral usually in micromount box or other small box
mounted on clay or with water soluble glue

Thumbnails fit in 1 inch cube
with Perky Box Thumbnails mounted in a plastic Perky Box
with water solubule glue

Miniatures fit in 2 inch cube

Cabinet Specimens are larger than a 2 inch cube

Specimens may also be mounted on a plastic stand(evident in photo)
using glue gun adhesive(easily removable)
